Pedro Ochoa is a visual artist based in New York City, working primarily in photography.

His practice is rooted in conceptual image-making and explores themes of identity, migration, memory, and belonging through portraiture and lens-based work. Beginning with an idea as the foundation, Ochoa develops projects that use photography as their principal medium while remaining open to expansion into installation, sculpture, video, and other forms as each body of work demands.

His work has been published in JK’s Magazine, a Finland-based contemporary art and culture publication. He is currently developing new projects examining cultural displacement, inherited identity, and the relationship between personal history and place.
